With over 6 different Sanctuary Farms cultivars entered into this years Emerald Cup, our least expected to win won 5th Place for "Best Outdoor Flower".
A few strains we entered were, Sour Guava, Blunicorn, Tahiti Lime and Purple Chewy, all fan favorites who we thought had the best chance of making it the top three. But luckily the competition was just as good this year. We entered a new strain; Pluto #5, which was also our first time growing this strain, and were pleasantly surprised with how it came out.
As describes by Swami and Nikki from the legendary "Swami Select", Petrel, silver polish, and rubber combined for the gassy smell of this classic sun grown bud the flavor carries through the whole smoke, you can a expect a clear and relaxing high that is great everyday."
We knew the Pluto #5 wasn't our prettiest weed but it definitely was our dankest. And I guess the judges felt that way as well. We were very excited to find out this one won. and beat our other most popular strains! It goes to show that when it comes to these sort of competitions, the judges are all looking for the same thing, old school gassy smells and smokes. Either way, we're happy to have placed at all!
